چکیده

Ammonium is one of the prevalent nitrogen sources for growth and development higher plants. acquisition from soil facilitated by ammonium transporters (AMTs), which are plasma membrane proteins that exclusively transport ammonium/ammonia. However, functional characteristics molecular mechanisms AMTs in apple remain unclear. In this work, 15 putative AMT genes were identified classified into four clusters (AMT1–AMT4) apple. According to expression analysis, these had varying expressions roots, leaves, stems, flowers fruits. Some them strongly affected diurnal cycles. showed multiple transcript patterns N regimes quite responsive osmotic stress. addition, phosphorylation analysis revealed there some conserved residues within C-terminal proteins. Furthermore, detailed research was conducted on AMT1;2 functioning heterologous yeast. The present study expected provide basic bioinformatic information profiles family lay a basis exploring roles regulation

Triterpenes and Phenolic Compounds in Apple Fruit (Malus domestica Borkh.)

Apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.), a popular and widely cultivated fruit world-wide, contains bioactive triterpenes and phenolic compounds with potentially valuable pharmacological functions. This thesis investigated the effects of pre-harvest and postharvest factors on concentrations of these bioactive compounds in apples. It also studied the effect of ozone treatment, before or during storage,...

Metabolic and gene expression analysis of apple (Malus × domestica) carotenogenesis

Carotenoid accumulation confers distinct colouration to plant tissues, with effects on plant response to light and as well as health benefits for consumers of plant products. The carotenoid pathway is controlled by flux of metabolites, rate-limiting enzyme steps, feed-back inhibition, and the strength of sink organelles, the plastids, in the cell. In apple (Malus × domestica Borkh), fruit carot...

Genome-Wide Identification and Expression Analysis of the Tubby-Like Protein Family in the Malus domestica Genome

Tubby-like proteins (TLPs), which have a highly conserved β barrel tubby domain, have been found to be associated with some animal-specific characteristics. In the plant kingdom, more than 10 TLP family members were identified in Arabidopsis, rice and maize, and they were found to be involved in responses to stress. The publication of the apple genome makes it feasible to systematically study t...

Characterization of Resistance Gene Analogues (RGAs) in Apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.) and Their Evolutionary History of the Rosaceae Family

The family of resistance gene analogues (RGAs) with a nucleotide-binding site (NBS) domain accounts for the largest number of disease resistance genes and is one of the largest gene families in plants. We have identified 868 RGAs in the genome of the apple (Malus × domestica Borkh.) cultivar 'Golden Delicious'. This represents 1.51% of the total number of predicted genes for this cultivar. Seve...

Identification, Classification, and Expression Analysis of GRAS Gene Family in Malus domestica

GRAS genes encode plant-specific transcription factors that play important roles in plant growth and development. However, little is known about the GRAS gene family in apple. In this study, 127 GRAS genes were identified in the apple (Malus domestica Borkh.) genome and named MdGRAS1 to MdGRAS127 according to their chromosomal locations. The chemical characteristics, gene structures and evoluti...
